Where Will My Dues Go?

If we could, we would do it for free. But, despite countless hours, services, and materials donated by our organizers and members, there are still costs involved. These include:

• Communication

  Supplies, printing & postage; Related computer expenses and additional software; Website creation, re-creation, expansion, and maintenance; Compiling and updating e-mail list-serves; Production of membership materials, events information and itineraries; Creating mailing lists, e-mail, snail mail; Letters and information for Presenters; Event follow-up; Events Gifts and prizes requests & follow-up; AND MORE.

• Administration

  Processing memberships and updating membership information; Accounting; Site location for events; Event planning, with menu planning, research and negotiations; Trip planning; Contract reviews; Merchandising; Taxes and corporate fees; AND MORE.

• Operation

  Salaries (someday); Insurance; Office overhead; Operating costs; Office equipment; Workers’ reimbursement; AND MORE.

• Education

  For leaders, planners & office staff; For Ambassadors.

  AND someday (we hope someday soon) for Scholastic Aid.
